The ICONX models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4×8 inch metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces using wire cutters and follow the included directions to assemble your model. This massive stone amphitheater was commissioned around A.D. 70 by Emperor Vespasian as a gift to the Roman people. In A.D. 80, his son Titus opened the Colosseum with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights. The colosseum remained in use for more than four centuries. The model is 3.78×3.15×1.5 inches when built. Difficulty level: Moderate. No glue or solder needed.
